Michael Dinneen has worked in the behavioral health field for over 20 years, primarily focused on addiction, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Prior to co-founding Valiant Living, Mr. Dinneen served hundreds of patients at CeDAR UCHealth for over a decade and helped design and implement key parts of the clinical programming, including the 30-day Primary Program, the 60-day Extended Care Program, the 71-day Professionals Program, and the Intimacy Disorder Track.
Michael is an author, an international trainer, and mentor for substance abuse counselors, and regularly presents at industry conferences across the U.S. He earned a B.A. in education at Boston College and a Masters of Social Work at the University of Denver. Michael is married and a father of two.
Kyle is the President of Valiant Living and serves as the details guy for Valiant Living Recovery Housing. Prior to co-founding Valiant Living with Michael Dinneen, Kyle served on investment and operations teams at several Denver-based single and multi-family investment offices, including Cherry Creek Family Offices, The Broe Group, and Mantucket Capital. In these roles, Kyle had the opportunity to manage the startup and growth of several healthcare businesses, and to invest, manage, and advise businesses in a variety of industries, including medical services. In 2015, Kyle founded Pacific Peak Capital, an independent advisor and sponsor that made impactful investments in businesses operating in healthcare, hospitality and real estate. Kyle earned degrees in Economics and Psychology at the University of Colorado, and a MBA at the University of Denver. Kyle is married, a father of two (ages 4 and 2), and has been a member of Red Rocks Church since 2006.
Michael is the Team Leader at Valiant Living Recovery Housing and a therapist at Restorations Therapy Center. He has been involved with the mental health and counseling fields since 2012, passionately helping those with various addictions and mental health concerns. Michael also provides support for the families impacted by these diseases and is passionate about working with families and couples. His previous positions in psychiatric hospitals, detox centers, residential facilities, and outpatient programs have given Michael a deep understanding of, and compassion for, those he works with.
Michael received his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver and is currently a Licensed Social Worker with the State of Colorado. He is currently pursuing a post-masters certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Denver Family Institute and is completing his training as a CSAT.
